Equiscale Institutional

Built for advisors who answer to their clients.

Equiscale Institutional turns an Investment Policy Statement into a living mandate. Audited every day, reconciled to the trade, reported every quarter, in your firm's name and your firm's voice.

Why Equiscale Institutional

The standard your clients expect, at the pace the market sets.

Markets move, products multiply, and the paperwork does not get lighter. The principles of this work have not changed in a century: discretion, diligence, and a clear account of what was done and why. We built the engine around them.

Policy as code

Every rule in the IPS, from allocation corridors to prohibited securities, becomes a machine-readable mandate with a hash you can file.

True look-through

Direct stock, ETFs and mutual funds decomposed to the underlying issuer and sector, in one pass. Surface weights do not survive it.

Deterministic trade tickets

The same policy and the same holdings always produce the same ticket. Nothing is estimated; the model explains, it does not invent.

Tax-aware by construction

Account location and the realized gains cap are inputs to the solver. Sheltered accounts first, losses harvested, gains taken only to the limit.

Reporting in your voice

Quarterly reviews written for the client, under your name, with the numbers that back every sentence.

Discretion and security

Your clients' data stays yours. Hashed audit trails, no model training on your mandates, access you control.

How it works
  1. Policy
  2. Audit
  3. Ticket
  4. Review
Every quarter, every client

Mandate audit

Read the policy. Test the portfolio against every line of it.

Corridors, caps and ceilingsStrategic allocation bands, issuer and sector look-through caps, volatility, drawdown, VaR, beta and duration limits, fee caps, liquidity floors, realized gains limits, prohibited securities.
Hidden concentration surfacedA 5% direct holding in Apple beside VOO, QQQ and Contrafund was 8.65% of the household. Technology, 25.73% against a 25% ceiling. The surface report showed neither.
Continuous, not quarterlyBreaches are detected as prices move; the quarterly review reports them, it does not discover them.

Rebalancing and the trade ticket

One ticket. Every breach cured. Nothing left to the afternoon.

Solver hierarchyDeploy excess cash first; sell inside the sheltered account; harvest losses; take taxable gains only up to the cap. Six breaches cleared with $1,715.38 to spare.
Zero net cash driftBuys and sells reconcile across accounts to the cent. The ticket is executable as printed.
Five-day cure, documentedDetection, ticket, execution or signed waiver, each stamped against the policy hash.

Client reporting

The quarterly review, written for the person who signs it.

Plain language, firm's letterheadWhat happened, why we are rebalancing, what it protects. Three years of performance against the policy benchmark, the retirement goal, and whether it is on track.
The protection, quantifiedIn a simulated 20% technology sell-off, the proposed rebalance reduces the estimated drawdown from 11.80% to 7.60%, about $52,500 of household capital.

The analyst pod

Three specialists on every mandate. Each one shows its work.

REMIRISK

Look-through concentration, beta, VaR and drawdown diagnosis across every vehicle you hold.

"Surface-level holdings mask two multi-vehicle concentration breaches… true AAPL concentration 8.65% vs. the 8.00% IPS single-issuer ceiling."

FINNEXECUTION

Attribution against the policy benchmark, the tax-aware solver, the cure sequence and its cost.

"$125,000 of VOO trimming inside the Rollover IRA ($0.00 taxable gain) before trimming QQQ and AAPL in the Taxable Trust… $1,715.38 below the IPS ceiling."

ARYARESEARCH

Equity research on the direct holdings and the satellites, with every figure traced to a filing.

"Active satellite sleeve: FCNTX 3Y information ratio 0.62, PIMIX 0.78; both above the 0.40 hurdle. AAPL trimmed for concentration, not conviction."

The engagement

Bespoke, from the first conversation.

We do not sell seats. Each firm is onboarded by us: your policies read and encoded by our team, your reporting templates matched, your preferred channel set up on day one.

Preferred communication channelA single point of contact, reachable on email, Slack, Signal or Telegram, in your working hours.
Policy onboarding includedWe encode your first mandates with you and reconcile them against your custodian statements before anything is sent to a client.
Terms that fit the firmScope, cadence and commercials are agreed in conversation, not on a pricing page.

"The trade ticket is the same every time because the policy is the same every time. That is the whole point of a policy."
