About

What is the CAC 40?

The CAC 40 (Cotation Assistée en Continu) tracks 40 of the largest and most-actively-traded companies on Euronext Paris, drawn from the top 100 French listings. Like the FTSE 100, many CAC 40 constituents are global multinationals, so it tracks French large-cap corporate performance more than the domestic French economy.
