What is TTM Squeeze?
A compression signal that fires when Bollinger Bands contract entirely inside Keltner Channels β volatility coiling into an unusually tight spring.
Formula
Squeeze ON when: Bollinger Upper < Keltner Upper AND Bollinger Lower > Keltner Lower
How to Interpret
Marks periods where movement has compressed below even ATR-normal range. The squeeze FIRING (bands re-expanding outside the Keltners) is the actionable moment, with direction taken from the accompanying momentum move. Longer squeezes tend to produce larger resolutions.
Typical Ranges
Direction-agnostic β a squeeze says 'big move likely,' not which way. Occasional false releases re-compress immediately.
